Tip

First, update your Performer Suite database, then install the new AutomationTool.


Warning

The Automation Tool can only access your Performer Suite database if it has the same major version.
This means, as soon as you have updated your database to 21.3, your 21.2 Automation Tool will no longer be able to access the database and will show an error.

Step-by-step

Run the downloaded setup file.

  1. Use the "Browse" button to browse for your current Automation Tool that you want to update.
    Press “Next“ to proceed.


  2. Select the AutomationTool.
    Press “Next“ to proceed.


  3. If you receive the prompt to uninstall the services, please uninstall the Performer Suite services with windows admin rights (follow the instructions in this article).




  4. The installation of the new version is now complete.
