In the Enterprise Glossary, you may encounter SAP Entities vs Custom Entities
Customization
Searchand Custom Entities. The former are created by the application when synchronizing with an SAP system and represent an SAP object that exists in the SAP system. The latter are manually created Entities that contain only user-defined information and represent anything the user wants to include in Enterprise Glossary, such as a report from an unsupported BI system.
All Entities, including SAP Entities, are based on templates that can be customized by changing the layout and adding or removing fields or categories.
Getting started
You should start by setting up your Enterprise Glossary with some basic settings and creating the basic content to explore all the useful features later.
