Throubleshooting
Do I need to update my Function modules after my SAP-Upgrade?
Yes, that is possible, but new transport requests are not needed directly.
As long as no error messages appear, your current function modules can continue to be used.
What can be, is that after your upgrade to e.g. BW4 2021 your current function modules do not contain the correct code now - because they were created with an older BW version.
(for certain functions this is then displayed in the form of an error message)
The solution (in case of an error message) would be to manually delete your entire function group in your DEV system (transaction: SE80) and recreate them via the Performer Suite (Check-button).
In general: If an error message occurs - please send us the following:
PerformerSuite.log (%homepath%\documents\PerformerSuite\Log).
Screenshot of the whole screen as soon as the unexpected behavior happens, e.g. error message.
