Summary
The Performer Suite (PS) can run in a Citrix environment.
Like most things in IT - it is a matter of the correct configuration.
Tips
- On Citrix, install the PS to "C:\Program Files\Performer Suite"
- Adjust write rights on various PS folders, since you do not have direct write rights on the C:\ path, but you do have rights in other paths.
- Working with 3rd Party Objects, you need write-rights on the following folder ..\Performer Suite\Images
- Redirect the following folders to the Home drive: "..\Documents\PerformerSuite\Log" (PerformerSuite.log)
- Various "Command Line Arguments" can be used to help you redirect folders.
Keep in mind your Performer Suite needs a working connection to its database
The file „C:\Program Files\Performer Suite\AppData\ConnectionData\ConnectionData.xml“ contains the encrypted path to your PS database.
Keep in mind your Performer Suite needs a working connection to your SAP systems
If a connection to your SAP-System is not working, adjust your services file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services) (learn more)
