AutoTool needs an SQL-User


Summary

The AutomationTool requires a connection to your SQL-DB with an SQL-User.
How-To: Establish SQL Server connection

Error

Cause

The Performer Suite SAP-Sync (Service in the background) cannot run with a Windows Authorization.

Solution

  1. Your DB admin team can create an SQL user for you and set it as db_owner
    How-To: Create Database User

    (info) With this SQL user, all your colleagues can also connect to the DB


  2. Connect to your DB using "SQL-Authorization


  3. Done - now you should be able to start the "Services" for the AutomationTool
