Summary
A popup comes up when you start the PerformerSuite.exe.
Error
Attempt to write a read-only database attempt to write a readonly database
Cause
YourĀ Performer Suite was installed in path C:\Program Files and you are using an SQLite DB.
WindowsĀ itself requires admin rights for all programs installed in C:\Program Files.
Solution
(1) Run as Admin
- Run PerformerSuite.exe as administrator
(2) Install to C:\
- InstallĀ Performer Suite in C:\PerformerSuite\
(2) Permission for Users
- Double-check, if your current Windows-User has full control over the DB.
Additional Information
To raise the awareness, we implemented a hint, if you try to install theĀ Performer Suite in C:\Program Files.

Please do not forget to attach the PerformerSuite.log file for easier troubleshooting.
