Summary

In rare cases, the function group cannot be created in your SAP-System proposing to create a function group manually.
The function group is still not visible in the dropdown selection, after creating a function group manually.

Unexpected behavior

Solution

1. Create manually a function group
   
   
   
2. Activate this function group
   
   
   
3. Create manually the function module "Z_RFC_CODESCAN"
   
   
   
4. In tab "Attributes", enable "Remote-Enabled Module"
   
   
   
5. In tab "Exceptions", enter "release_2_2"
   
   
   
6. Save and go back or exit the SE80 to unlock this function module
   
   
   
7. Final step: in the Performer Suite (Administration > Connection Data > Function Modules)
   Run the Function Module Check  with your Prefix and follow the wizard to update your function modules
   
   
   
8. Result:
   Status of the Function Modules become green..
   
   
   ..and are fully created in your SAP System.
