Usage of BW entities in BO reports

During the BO Synchronization, it is possible to save the relation between BO and BW entities.

With this setting, we parse the definitions of every BO entity and save the relation of them to BW entities in the Performer Suite database. After the synchronization was done you can identify the usage of BW entities (as DataSources) in BO entities with the Where-Used Analysis in the "In BO Reports" tab.

Pay attention that the synchronization must be done to see a result for the usages in BO Reports. If you are using this functionality more often, you should do the synchronization every night with the AutomationTool.
The synchronization of the relations between BW and BO entities is implemented because parsing of all BO entities during the run time of the analysis would have an unacceptable run time.
The Performer Suite database table which contains the relations between the entities is cleared with every new synchronization where the setting is activated.
