Copying Structures

Structures can be copied by following the same procedure as used for Queries (compare Copying a Query).

Error in Copying Reporting Elements

In certain cases, copying Reporting Elements leads to an error.
For example, the Return Code is higher than 0 or the Query-check in BEx (or BW Modeling Tools) shows a fault message. 

A possible reason could be the different date-/time settings in the Source- and Target-Systems.
To exclude the format as a possible source of errors the "Check Date and Time Format" button should be used.

This verification is not necessary but helpful assistance to eliminate defects.
However, it may happen that further errors occur as the System reads User-Tables (SU*) during the check, and not every Docu Performer-User has adequate permission to do so.

To adjust date and time settings if necessary please follow the steps below:

1. Start Transaction su01

2. Choose relevant User

3. Choose Tab “Defaults“ (in German: “Festwerte“)

4. Verify that “Date Format” and “Time Format (12/24h)” are matching for the relevant User in the Source- and Target-System

5. If not, adjust these settings
