After the objects have been activated in your SAP system, you have the option to write the objects automatically to your transport request.
Press the button "Yes, continue" in the following dialog window:

Now, you can select your transport request:

After the correct transport request has been found, the edited objects are written to the Transport request into the SAP system by clicking on "Apply".

Be sure that you choose a task that is assigned to you and has the type of Development/Correction (see below).

The entity must be assigned to package unequal $TMP to add it to transport. If not you get a warning (see below).

Queries

In the case of transporting depending elements of Queries, it could be that a manual transport collection must be done.

What we do with depending elements:

  • Query specific texts → Writing the Reporting Element (with UID) to the transport. Here we do not collect other depending elements of one translated Reporting Element. In this case, it could be that the transport cannot be released.
  • InfoProvider specific texts → Writing the InfoProvider to transport
  • InfoObject specific texts → Writing the InfoObject to transport
  • Nav. Attr. specific texts → Writing the base InfoProvider to transport

Writing to a Transport Request via Translation Steward is not supported for BI Web Items and BW Workbooks. These entity types have to be assigned manually in SAP.
