The Automation Tool can only access your Performer Suite database if it has the same major version.
As soon you have updated your database to 21.3, your 21.2 Automation Tool will no longer be able to access the database and will show an error.
What is the major version?
The first 2 version numbers.

Execute Setup File
Run the downloaded setup file.
- Use the "Browse" button to browse for your current Automation Tool that you want to update.
Press “Next“ to proceed.
- Select the AutomationTool.
Press “Next“ to proceed.
If you receive the prompt to uninstall the services, please follow the instructions in this article (windows admin rights needed).
- The installation of the new version is now complete.
