Types

Enterprise

With the Enterprise Authentication Type, you can use your "normal" BO user to connect to your BO system with the Performer Suite.

SAP

When using SAP Authentication with the SAP BI Platform, there can be multiple Entitlement Systems configured in BO. One of those Entitlement Systems is defined as „Default system“.
This means: If only a user name is provided in the Performer Suite login dialog, the configured default system is used.

If the other SAP System should be used, a prefix must be added to the user name in the Performer Suite login dialog. The prefix has the following format „<SYSTEM-ID>~<CLIENT>“ and is separated from the user name with a (forward) slash. The symbol between the System ID and the client is a tilde. In this example, the prefix for the BI2 system with client 001 would be „BI2~001“. This means the username to enter in the Login dialog would be: „BI2~001/aduerrstein“.
