Commenting of not synchronizable entities

There is also a possibility to comment on entities that cannot be synchronized with SAP. It concerns objects of the types:

• Data Archiving Processes (DAPs)

• Structure elements in Queries

• Process variants in Process Chains

A Comment-Template, as we can maintain for synchronized entities, does not exist for these entities. A Multiline-text field is available to comment not synchronizable entities.

Displaying and commenting DAPs

The DAP functionality is supported for:

• DSOs

• Advanced DSOs

• InfoCubes

To display a DAPs of an InfoProvider start the context menu of the InfoProvider. It is possible to select multiple InfoProvider.

Access to the commenting of structure elements is made via the context menu of the entities list by calling the "Analyze/Compare" analysis function:
