Maintainance of 3rd Party Entities

Create, Edit and Delete

If you want to create 3rd party objects of another object type that is not initially available, you must first create it in the Performer Suite. You can find further information here:

Create new 3rd Party Entities

  1. Use the context menu from the Entity Tree

  2. Use the "Add" button in the toolbar

In the context menu of the Entity Grid you can find a "Copy"-option to copy an already existing entity.

Delete and edit a 3rd Party Entity

  1. Use the context menu of the Entity Grid

  2. Use the "Edit" and "Delete" button in the toolbar

Excel Upload

Another possibility for a mass creation of 3rd Party Entities are the Excel Upload. You can find two buttons in the toolbar for "Excel Download" and "Excel Upload".

The Excel Export downloads a general structure of all fields for all 3rd Party Entities and all Entity Types. With this downloaded Excel file it is easier to create a valid Excel file for the upload.

The Excel Import uploads mass 3rd Party Entities. Please pay attention that you use valid fields and Entity Types.

Use Excel Export first! You will receive an empty grid, which you can fill and re-import.

If something is not valid in the Excel structure the Docu Performer will show a message.
