Creating and Editing Web Users

In the “Users” tab, new web users can be created (depending on the acquired license and available user account).
Existing users can be displayed, edited and deleted.

The Web Edition uses only SAP users. Therefore no password is needed, the password of the SAP user is used also for log into Performer Suite.
This means: There are no application users in the Web Edition. If users are created manually, the user ID must correspond to the user name of an existing SAP BW user.

If the checkbox "Display only authorized BEx Queries for this user“ is activated, it is checked at login, which queries the SAP user is allowed to see. This test extends the time required for the login.
