General Export Settings

In the "General" tab, Export settings can be specified. For example, if the selected entities will be saved in a separate file per document or if all selected entities will be saved together in one file.

In general, we recommend to use the option "Save each documentation in one file" but sometimes it might be useful to uncheck this option.
If you uncheck this option the filename will be named as the first selected object in the list.

Path settings

The path for the document repository is stored independently from the Settings-variant. In addition, the path is individually customizable for each user, this information is even for global Settings Variants not saved in the database.

When activating the checkbox "Global Path for all users", the defined path is applied for all Performer Suite users and the standard users can no longer change the parameters:

This setting is only visible for users if certain permission has been activated in the role. You can find further information on role maintenance here: General Role Authorizations

Filename settings

If a separate file is created for each selected entity the filename will be composed according to the settings. A preview of the filename will be shown if the filename settings are being changed.

Reduce images settings

This setting can help to avoid memory overflows in really large documents. In InfoProvider documentations the "Direct update" image will be replaced by = sign and the "No update" image will be replaced by space. In Query documentations, the mathematical operator images will be replaced by corresponding characters (e.g. >=).
