Find your HANA parameters
Summary
The basis for a successful connection is the correct Application Server or IP and their Instance Number.
Step-by-step guide
Two ways to check for your HANA Server Name or IP and the Instance Number.
(1) Eclipse Workspace
Log into your Eclipse:
- Click the top-right icon to switch to <SAP HANA Modeler>.
- Mouse-over your HANA system to receive the tooltip with the needed IP..
- .. and find also the Instance Number.
- Alternatively, find your Instance Number in Web IDE with the SQL command:
SELECT * FROM "SYS"."M_SYSTEM_OVERVIEW"
(2) Via the browser HANA Application Lifecycle Management
Try to access it in your browser on the following page:
- Enter:
https://<Application Server>:43<InstanceNumber>/sap/hana/xs/lm/
OR
http://<Application Server>:80<InstanceNumber>/sap/hana/xs/lm/
(e.g. http://10.3.4.567:8011/sap/hana/xs/lm
or
https://saps75db00.wiesbaden.bluetelligence:4311/sap/hana/xs/lm) - Do you see the following green-ish page?
> If yes, you can forward the working URL to us.
> If not. Please contact your HANA-Admin for the correct URL.
